Helen McDougall is a highly experienced teacher who has led the Mathematics Department at St Leonards-Mayfield School with great distinction for the last 7 years. The Mathematics results at AS and A level have been fantastic and listed in the Good Schools Guide as the best in England at AS level in 2006. She is a charismatic teacher with the ability to engage students in Mathematics and to enable them to succeed where others have failed.
Lesley Morcombe has had a distinguished teaching career spanning over 25 years . She has taught A level Chemistry and GCSE Science and Mathematics and has been an examiner for GCSE Chemistry. She has led very successful and high achieving Science departments at Uckfield Community College and St Leonards-Mayfield School . Many of her students have gone on to great success studying Chemistry and related subjects at University. Her most recent post was Head of Sixth Form at St Leonards, with responsibility for the University Application process. She is a teacher with a proven track record of excellence.
